Cette nouvelle livraison du Bulletin de liaison de la céramique égyptienne (BCE 30) présente dans une première partie l’actualité de la recherche avec son «Parcours régional». Il s’enrichit cette année encore de l’apport de travaux archéologiques récents comme ceux réalisés à Ermant dans la région thébaine, avec un focus sur la céramique de l’Ancien Empire du site (cf. S. Marchand, C. Thiers). Plusieurs contributions présentent un mobilier céramique spécifique : une étude technique des productions céramiques « Blue Painted » emblématiques du Nouvel Empire avec le mobilier des fouilles de Saqqara et de Dachour Nord (cf. K. Takahashi), la publication d’une partie du mobilier amphorique des époques ptolémaïque, romaine et byzantine mis au jour dans l’antique Krokodilopolis au Fayoum (cf. Y. Mahmoud, S. Marchand). Un article interroge sur les phénomènes de transposition des matériaux pour la vaisselle de table romaine du site de Berenike dans le désert Oriental (cf. R. Geerts). Enfin, une étude porte sur une technique décorative spécifique mise en évidence sur les céramiques Méroïtiques de Faras en Nubie (cf. L. Kilroe). La seconde partie de l’ouvrage comprend une première étude sur les pâtes céramiques des productions Prédynastiques de la Vallée du Nil (cf. G. Di Pietro, R. Friedman). La seconde est la présentation des archives des fouilles de David George Hogarth entre 1906 et 1907 dans la nécropole d’Assiout par le British Museum (cf. H. Pethen). Enfin, une brève présentation d’un ouvrage à paraître destiné à accompagner la formation des futurs céramologues en devenir clôt ce volume. Il s’agit d’un manuel bilingue anglais-arabe qui s’intitule Ceramic Manual for Ceramic Sudies. From the Nile Valley to the Arab Middle East (cf. R. David).

The first part of this new issue of the Bulletin de liaison de la céramique égyptienne (BCE 30) presents the current state of research in its "Regional Route". This year, it is enriched by the contribution of recent archaeological work such as that carried out at Ermant in the Theban region, focusing on the Old Kingdom ceramics of the site (cf. S. Marchand, C. Thiers). Several contributions present specific ceramic material: a technical study of the "Blue Painted" ceramic productions which are emblematic of the New Kingdom along with the material from the excavations of Saqqara and Northern Dahshur (cf. K. Takahashi), the publication of a part of the amphora material from the Ptolemaic, Roman and Byzantine periods discovered in the ancient Krokodilopolis in Fayum (cf. Y. Mahmoud, S. Marchand). One article examines the phenomena of transposition of materials for Roman tableware from the site of Berenike in the Eastern Desert (cf. R. Geerts). Finally, a study deals with a specific decorative technique revealed on Meroitic ceramics from Faras in Nubia (cf. L. Kilroe). The second part includes a study on the ceramic pastes of the Pre-Dynastic productions of the Nile Valley (cf. G. Di Pietro, R. Friedman). The second study consists in the presentation of the archives of David George Hogarth's excavations between 1906 and 1907 in the necropolis of Asyut by the British Museum (cf. H. Pethen). Finally, a brief presentation of forthcoming work intended to accompany the training of future ceramologists closes this volume. It is a bilingual English-Arabic manual entitled Ceramic Manual for Ceramic Sudies. From the Nile Valley to the Arab Middle East (cf. R. David).
