L’objet de l’article est une base de statue en granit gris, conservée dans les sous-sols du Musée égyptien du Caire. L’inscription gravée sur le pourtour et la surface supérieure peut être datée de la XXVIe dynastie.

Le dédicant Ḥr-ỉr-ʿȝ, surnommé Nfr-ỉb-Rʿ-nfr, était le père nourricier du roi Psammétique II.

The subject of this paper is a grey granite statue base, stored in the basement of the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. This base contains an incised hieroglyphic inscription that survives around the base and on the upper surface and can be dated to the 26 th Dynasty. The base belongs to an Ḥr-ỉr-ʿȝ, surnamed Nfr-ỉb-Rʿ-nfr who was the tutor to king Psammetichus II.
