De Giza à la mer Rouge : une équipe d’ouvriers du règne de Khoufou au Ouadi Sannour
La récente découverte de tessons inscrits au nom d’équipes royales du règne de Khoufou au Ouadi Sannour sur les sites WS 005 et WS 0013 fournit un marqueur chronologique essentiel à la compréhension de ces implantations. Les parallèles observés au Ouadi el-Jarf et identifiés à Giza apportent un nouvel éclairage sur la relation entre l’exploitation du silex du Ouadi Sannour et les autres grandes réalisations royales entreprises sous la IVe dynastie.
The recent discovery of ceramic sherds inscribed with the names of royal teams from the reign of Khufu in Wadi Sannur, at sites WS 005 and WS 0013, provides an essential chronological indicator for the understanding of these settlements. The similarities attested in Wadi el-Jarf and observed at Giza shed a new light on the relationship between the Wadi Sannur flint quarries and the other major royal achievements of the 4th Dynasty, such as the royal necropolis and royal expeditions.
