Stage d’initiation au vieux nubien / An introductory course to Old Nubians
L’IFAO, le PCMA et l’université du Fayoum, s’associent pour proposer une initiation complète au vieux nubien, forme écrite de la langue pratiquée par les habitants de la moyenne vallée du Nil au Moyen Âge. Les cours, à la fois théoriques et pratiques, seront dispensés par Vincent W.J. van Gerven Oei, meilleur spécialiste actuel de cette langue rarement enseignée dans les cursus universitaires classiques.
The IFAO, the PCMA and the University of Fayoum have joined forces to offer a complete introduction to the Old Nubian language, the written form of the language used by the inhabitants of the Middle Nile Valley during the Middle Ages. The course, both theoretical and practical, will be given by Vincent W.J. van Gerven Oei, who is currently the best specialist in this language rarely studied in standard university curricula.
