In the framework of the 8th International Summer School in Coptic Papyrology, Anne Boud’hors will give a keynote lecture entitled 'Coptic Studies at the Ifao: History and Memories', on Sunday 27 september 2026 at 6p.m.
The lecture is open to the public in the limit of availabe places.
Anne Boud’hors is a prominent French Egyptologist, Coptologist, and philologist. She is widely recognized as a leading specialist in the Coptic language, ancient Egyptian Christian manuscripts, and early biblical translations as well as the former President of the International Association for Coptic Studies (IACS) (2008 to 2012) and the Editor of the Journal of Coptic Studies (JCoptS) for a decade (2013–2023).
She is a Research Director Emerita at the Institut de recherche et d’histoire des textes (IRHT) in Paris.
