الملتقى العلمي الأول لشباب الباحثين
الجديد فى الدراسات المملوكية
The Mamluk period is considered to be one of the richest Islamic eras in different fields. This is the reason behind the interest of many researchers to study the various aspects of the Mamluk civilization. In the last few years, many studies have been clarified for this period, and succeeded in unveiling more about the Mamluk sultanate , and still declaring more until this moment.
This forum aims to help the young scholars to exchange knowledge through discussing the different opinions and points of view as well as encouraging scientific communication in order to declare new findings during the Mamluk period.
يعد العصر المملوكي أحد أهم العصور التى شهدت ثراءً كبيراً فى مختلف المجالات سواء فنية أو معمارية وكذلك خلّفت لنا العديد من الجوانب الحضارية الهامة التى يهتم الباحثين على مختلف اتجاهاتهم بدراستها وكشف اللثام عنها وامدادنا بنتائجها الجديدة من حين إلى آخر، وقد قُدمت لنا على مدار السنوات السابقة المئات من الدراسات التى تتناول العصر المملوكى من كافة جوانبة ومازالت الدراسات تتوالي يوماً بعد الآخر ولكن يبقى العائق فى تبادل هذه الدراسات والتعرف عليها وهو سبب عقد هذا الملتقي العلمي الذى يستهدف شباب الباحثين فى المقام الأول المهتمين بهذا الحقل لعرض دراستهم الجديدة فيما يختص بالعصر المملوكى وكذلك تبادل الخبرات والأفكار بين المشاركين مما يسهم فى أن تعم الفائدة على الجميع ويزيد من فرص التعاون بين العلمي وكذلك التوصل إلي نتائج جديدة فيها يخص هذا العصر الذهبى وهو عصر سلاطين المماليك.
The Forum's themes:
1- Recent studies in Islamic architecture and its elements in the Mamluk period.
2- Recent studies in Islamic art during the Mamluk period.
3- Recent studies in Mamluk history and civilization.
4- Recent studies in archaeological excavations related to the Mamluk period.
Attendance is free. Meanwhile, in order guarantee the workshop nature of this scientific meeting, only a limited number of attendees will be allowed. Unfortunately the organizers may have to decline some applications and they will consider the needs and research fields of the applicants.The selection should not be seen as an academic evaluation.
