The Ifao is collaborating with the University of Sadat City to organise a two-day workshop for academic staff and postgraduate students at the Department of Tourism Guidance at the University of Sadat City.

This two-days methodological workshop will present research methods in the fields of history, heritage studies and archaeology, for academic staff and postgraduate research degrees at both Masters and PhD levels at the Department of Tourism Guidance, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at the University of Sadat City. Around 25 participants will be selected by the University.

The training will provide an overview of the key sources, methodologies, and practical frameworks used in the fields of history, heritage studies and archaeology. It aims directly at teaching participants to think critically about their own research and to develop and foster their professional skills about analyzing qualitative data and writing research proposals.

The first day will take place at the Ifao, and the second at the University of Sadat City.
