Publishing an international paper in Egyptology
Six-sessions Training Workshop
The Ifao proposes a training workshop on the writing of a paper in Egyptology and its submitting to an international peer-reviewed journal.
Six sessions of 2 hours and a half will take place at the Ifao, in March then in May 2023. The trainers will have the opportunity to work on their project of publication, for which they already made some research, alternating between theoretical developments and personal work on their paper. The theoretical parts will address all the steps for preparing a paper, from the research to the peer-reviewing.
Hours: from 10 AM to 12.30 PM.
The call for applications is opened until February 20th at 11.59 PM. A maximum of 8 applicants will be selected.

Criteria of selection:
- to be able to listen, speak, read and write in academic English.
- to have a clear project of publication in a peer-review journal, in English and in the field of Egyptology.
- to have already made some research on the subject.
- to be willing to come at the Ifao for the sessions and to work on the paper between the sessions.
