IFAO

Dans le cadre du projet sur les stèles funéraires islamiques n°23121, un atelier de recherche et de formation organisé par A. Lagaron (Ifao) se tiendra le 6 juin 2024 dans l’enceinte de l’Ifao. Ce projet concerne la conservation, l’étude et la publication de près de 4500 stèles portant des inscriptions arabes datant de l’époque médiévale à l’époque ottomane qui sont rassemblées dans un monument de la cité des morts. L’atelier aura pour objectif de définir les étapes du processus de conservation et de restauration si besoin ainsi que celui de la documentation des stèles. Une mise en situation sera organisée grâce aux collections de l’Ifao afin qu’un processus systématique soit déterminé. Il s’agira d’une sorte de répétition générale avant le début de la mission in situ.  Cet atelier donnera également place au partage d’expérience grâce aux interventions de différents chercheurs, photographes et restaurateurs.

ورشة عمل بحثية: شواهد القبور الإسلامية

كجزء من المشروع الخاص بشواهد القبور الإسلامية رقم 23121، ستُعقد ورشة عمل بحثية وتدريبية تنظمها أنا لاغارون (المعهد الفرنسي للدراسات الشرقية) في 6 يونيو 2024 بالمعهد. يتعلق هذا المشروع بحفظ ودراسة ونشر ما يقرب من 4500 شاهد تحتوي نقوشًا عربية تعود إلى الفترة من القرون الوسطى إلى الفترة العثمانية، والتي تم جمعها في نصب تذكاري في مدينة الأموات. سيكون الهدف من ورشة العمل هو تحديد مراحل عملية ترميم هذه الشواهد وترميمها إذا لزم الأمر، بالإضافة إلى توثيقها. سيتم استخدام مجموعات من مقتنيات معهد الآثار الشرقية لتحديد العملية المنهجية للدراسة والفحص والتوثيق. وسيكون ذلك نوعاً من البروفة قبل بدء العمل في الموقع.  كما ستوفر ورشة العمل فرصة لتبادل الخبرات، مع مساهمات من مختلف الباحثين والمصورين والمرممين.

Workshop: Islamic tombstones

In the framework of the Islamic tombstones project n°23121, a workshop on research and training organised by A. Lagaron (Ifao) will be held on 6 June 2024 at the Ifao. This project concerns the conservation, study and publication of almost 4,500 stelae inscribed with Arabic inscriptions dating from the Middle Ages to the Ottoman period, which have been brought together in a monument of the City of the Dead. The aim of the workshop will be to define the steps involved in the process of conserving and, if necessary, restoring the stelae, as well as documenting them. The Ifao's collections will be used to set out a systematic process. This will be a sort of dress rehearsal before the start of the on-site mission.  The workshop will also provide an opportunity to share experiences, with contributions from various researchers, photographers and restorers.
