Le laboratoire de Datation 14C de l'Ifao
Mis en service en 2006, le laboratoire de datation par le radiocarbone de l’Ifao est un laboratoire de service et de recherche. Il entend répondre, avant tout, aux besoins de la communauté archéologique qui opère sur le territoire égyptien, mais peut s’étendre au-delà. Laboratoire d’un institut d’archéologie, nous privilégions l’étude de problématiques chronologiques rassemblant l’analyse de séries cohérentes d’échantillons associées à des contextes archéologiques précis. Ouvert à tous, nous acceptons les échantillons qu’avec l’autorisation du Ministère du Tourisme et des Antiquités égyptiennes. Les analyses sont payantes afin de couvrir les coûts de fonctionnement du laboratoire.
IFAO C14 Laboratory
Inaugured in 2006, the Ifao's radiocarbon dating laboratory is both a service and research laboratory at the same time. Above all, it aims at meeting the needs of the archaeological community working on Egyptian territory, but may extend beyond it. As a laboratory within an archaeological institute, we focus on the study of chronological issues by analyzing coherent series of samples associated with specific archaeological contexts. Open to all, we accept samples only with the authorization of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Analyses are subject to fees to cover the running costs of the laboratory.
معمل التأريخ بالكربون 14 التابع للمعهد العلمي الفرنسي للآثار الشرقية
تم افتتاح معمل التأريخ بواسطة الكربون المشع في المعهد العلمي الفرنسي للآثار الشرقية في عام 2006 وهو معمل للبحوث ولكنه يقدم أيضا خدماته للآخرين۔ هذا المعمل يلبي في الأساس احتياجات المجتمع الأثري الذي يعمل على الأراضي المصرية ، ولكن يمكن أن يمتد إلى ما بعد ذلك. وبما أنه معمل داخل معهد للآثار فإننا نفضل دراسة اشكاليات التسلسل الزمني عن طريق تحليل مجموعات متسقة من العينات المرتبطة بسياق أثري محدد۔ ان المعمل متاح للجميع ولكننا لا نستقبل العينات الا بموافقة وزارة الآثار المصرية۔ ويتم دفع مبالغ مالية مقابل اجراء التحاليل حتى نتمكن من تغطية تكاليف تشغيل المعمل۔
