Training at the Ifao library: How to make the most out of your visit?

In April-May 2023, during four mornings, the Ifao library welcomes master students from Ayn Shams University, in order to show them how to use the Ifao Library catalog and to easily find relevant informations for their research subject.
The training will take place in three steps: visit of the library; presentation of the Ifao Library catalog and explanation on how to efficiently use it; exercises on the catalog and with books highlighting different problematics (how to choose references, how to identify a book, how to write a bibliography, how to find the informations one needs, etc.).

خلال شهري أبريل ومايو ٢٠٢٣ ، على مدار أربعة أيام، تستقبل مكتبة المعهد الفرنسي للآثار الشرقية طلاب الماجستير بجامعة عين شمس، من أجل توضيح الطريقة المثلى لاستخدام كتالوج مكتبة المعهد و كيفية العثور بسهولة على المعلومات ذات الصلة بموضوع البحث الخاص بهم.
سيكون التدريب على ثلاث مراحل: زيارة تعريفية للمكتبة، عرض توضيحي لكتالوج مكتبة المعهد وشرح كيفية استخدامه بكفاءة، وتطبيقات على الكتالوج وعلى الكتب التي تسلط الضوء على إشكاليات مختلفة (كيفية اختيار المراجع، وكيفية تحديد كتاب، وكيفية كتابة ببليوغرافيا، وكيفية العثور على المعلومات التي يحتاجها الباحث، وما إلى ذلك).
