• Glass from the excavations in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem:

– colourless glass (yellowish or greenish tinge) - 70 vessels;
– purple glass - 47 vessels;
– bright turquoise glass - 11 vessels;
– cobalt blue glass - 3 vessels;
– honey-coloured glass - 2 vessels.

– white opaque marvered threads on purple glass (44 vessels), turquoise (2 vessels) and cobalt blue (1 vessel);
– mould-blown decoration (19 vessels) - the most common ornamental patterns: vertical or diagonal ribbing, roundish indentations and diamonds;
– greenish colourless glass painted in red enamel (11 fragments);
– vertical pinched decoration on turquoise glass (3 vessels).

Most of the vessels were used for oils and perfumes, or for lighting fixtures.

• Outlines the tradition of locally produced glass (Jerusalem and Hebron).
