• Production of enamelled and gilded glass in Venice and its relation to the eastern Mediterranean according to the Archivio di Stato in Venice (transactions, business notebooks, documents of the Podestà of Murano):
– Assimilation by Venice of the technical skills from the Mamluk - example of the enamelled glass.
– Collaboration between glass painters and glassmakers in Venice.
– Georgio Tale, Bartolomeo, Donino (glass painters, especially of beakers), Stefano Spandinoci (maker of glass beakers), working in Venice (1280-1351).
– Trade of enamelled Venetian glass in the eastern Mediterranean, Central Europe and the Baltic area.
– Some Venetian enammelled glass found in Verona (Cortile del Tribunale), Buda (Royal Palace), Sevgein (Church of St Thomas) and Tartu.
