• Baltimore Beakers:
– Two beakers both with Arabic inscriptions at the top: ʿizz li-mawlānā al-sulṭān al-malik al ʿāmil al-ālim al-murābiṭ al-muthāghir al-muʾayyad al-muẓaffar (”glory to our lord the sultan, the royal, the diligent, the wise, the defender, the protector of frontiers, the fortified by God, the triumphant”).

– Figural representations of Jerusalem:
1. Dome of the Rock and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, ecclesiastical figures (monk(s) ?), representation of “mosque lamps” - glass or metal ? (fig. 15.1);
2. Christ entering Jerusalem, an ecclesiastic figure, Church of St Anne (?), minaret and the nort-west corner of the “ḥaram” (?) (fig. 15.2).

• Baltimore Beakers as examples of pilgrim souvenirs.
