• Archaeological context: more than 200 items of various types of ceramics, bronze and glass (13 objects) were found in a sealed deposit in a small chamber on the Temple Platform. Utensils may have belonged to an affluent private family.

• Examples of glass objects from the Caesarea hoard:
– two large jars (19-litre and 8-litre capacity) (fig. 5a and b);
– small bottle of purple color (fig. 5c) and small bottle of cobalt blue (fig. 5d);
– lamps:
- stemmed lamps with ending knob (fig. 5e-f),
- simple globular body lamp (fig. 5g),
- globular body lamp with handles and wick tube (fig. 5h);
– small bowl with lustre-painted floral decoration (fig. 5i);
– bowl with mould-blown geometric patterns; pale purplish colored glass (fig. 6).
