La date de découverte est fournie par Legrain:1909, 17. Par ailleurs, Legrain a décrit à Maspero l’objet le lendemain de sa découverte (Ms 4027, f° 343), lui donnant pour hauteur 80 cm et précisant: la tête manque. JE 37175 (à l’été 1904) enregistre la statue sans évoquer son état de conservation mais lui donne une hauteur de 78 cm. Pour Legrain:1909, 17, la statue est complète et la hauteur 0 m. 74 cm. Il est par ailleurs indiqué (Legrain:1909, 19): « Trouvée en trois morceaux se rajustant ». Maspero:1915 précise que: « La tête, qui avait disparu pendant la fouille, a été achetée en 1906 chez un marchand du Caire ». Voir aussi CK 829 pour la statue JE 37327 qui porte aussi indubitablement le numéro K339. Vue au Musée de Louxor, rez-de-chaussée, le 18/9/2015.
