Includes references to published wooden finds: wooden coffins excavated by Carter and Carnarvon in Assasif (1907-1911); possibly Roman, but could be Ptolemaic (no further description) (p.173); Roman mummy portraits and plaque with Hieratic inscription of Roman date (TT196) as well as fragments of plain ‘qsrw’ type of coffins from the tomb of Ankhhor, both from German excavations in Assasif (1969-1971) (p. 174); reused wooden coffins and mummy mask in a Roman brick tomb in Medinet Habu, excavated by Hölscher (published in 1954) (p. 178); mummy portraits from the Valley of the Queens (Lecuyot 1992) (p. 178).
