Ornamental and structural elements of church architecture:
- niche (“très plate a un rebord horizontal en bois”);
- screens separating the sanctuary from the nave (see schematic plan on p. 21) on the east and west, preserved in the bottom part (c, d) and fitted into offsets of pillars. the southern end terminating in a post topped with a rounded finial. Composed of upright elements and crosspieces roughly squared and assembled with pegs and mortises. The pillars were made of baked brick with alternating courses of limestone and wood forming an irregular cross in plan.
- door with carved ornament (Rutschovscaya 1986).
- other structural elements: “madriers, des poutres de palmier, un corbeau, portions d’arc, peints et sans décor, une sorte de console insérée dans le mur”.
Some of the wood carvings were painted and carved - geometric, vegetal and bird motifs (p. 22).
