• Examples of polychrome decoration on glass from Khurasan:
– blue flasks decorated in white pigment and applied cut-outs (cold-painting) (4.1 ; 4.2 ; 4.7);
– Yellowish green flasks decorated in red and yellowish green pigments (fired enamels) (4.3 ; 4.4).
• Exploration of the polychrome techniques in Khurasan possibly independ of the developments in other Islamic regions.
