La date de découverte est fournie par JdF 1903-1904, 48. Cette statue a été confondue avec New York Pierpont Morgan Library n°10 chez Raven:1980, 21 qui cite un avis de H. De Meulenaere sur lequel celui-ci est revenu depuis (ainsi, in Azim, Reveillac:2004, I, 308) et voir déjà Bothmer:1960, 197. Disparue d’après la lettre de Legrain, n° 618, 14 novembre 1906.
