Date de découverte fournie par Ms Legrain-Kuentz (Musée du Caire), IV/13: “Karnak. 1905” à propos de 38043. (Ch. Kuentz). Il ne s’agit peut-être que d’une transcription du JE. Il est pratiquement certain que ce premier fragment qui seul porte le numéro K 687, a été découvert le 26/5/1905 comme le furent K686 et K688.
Noter que dans Maspero:1912 (ré-édition d’un article paru en 1906), la tête est photographiée seule et non remontée.
