Cet article propose la publication du P. Vatican 38566 daté de la Troisième Période Intermédiaire. Il donne la traduction de l’ensemble des textes, une étude de l’unique vignette présente dans le papyrus, une analyse des séquences des chapitres du Livre des Morts sélectionnés et un examen paléographique. Le document, écrit par au moins deux scribes, permet de s’interroger sur les processus de sélection et de copie des formules et de mettre en lumière une tradition méconnue du Livre des Morts durant la Troisième Période Intermédiaire. Le document se rattache ainsi à un groupe incluant, notamment, le papyrus du Grand Prêtre d’Amon Pinedjem II (P. BM EA 10793) et celui de sa fille Nestanebetichérou (P. Greenfield). Pouvant être daté de la fin de la XXI^e dynastie ou du début de la XXII^e dynastie, il semble annoncer une tradition spécifique en usage durant la XXII^e dynastie dans la région thébaine.

This article presents the publication of P. Vatican 38566 from the Third Intermediate Period. It gives the translation of all the texts, a study of the sole vignette of the papyrus, and an analysis of the sequences of the spells of the Book of the Dead as well as a paleographical study. This papyrus, written by at least two scribes, allows us to question the process of selection and copying of spells and to highlight a little-known tradition of the Book of the Dead during this period. This manuscript is related to a group including in particular the papyrus of the High Priest of Amun Pinedjem II (P. BM EA 10793) as well as the one belonging to his daughter Nestanebetisheru (P. Greenfield). Hence, the papyrus can be dated to the end of the 21st Dynasty or the beginning of the 22nd Dynasty. It also seems to announce a specific tradition in use during the 22nd Dynasty in the Theban area.
