Le supposé deuxième protocole royal de Ptolémée XII Aulète à Kôm Ombo et à Dendara
Connu par une titulature dite « usuelle » attestée à Edfou, Philae et dans la grande salle hypostyle de Kôm Ombo, Ptolémée XII Aulète en a utilisé une seconde, attestée seulement dans deux cryptes de Dendara et dans une chambre de Kôm Ombo, dans laquelle il remploya le nom d’Horus d’Or de Ptolémée X Alexandre Ier. Cette étude ayant pour objet de déterminer la datation de ces deux protocoles, elle arrive à la conclusion qu’ils dateraient respectivement du premier règne du roi (80/76 à 58 av. J.-C.) et du second (55 à 51 av. J.-C.). Cette hypothèse amène ensuite l’auteur à proposer des dates précises de construction des lieux où ces titulatures particulières apparaissent.
Essentially known by his traditional title attested in Edfu, Philae and in the great hypostyle hall of Kom Ombo, Ptolemy XII Auletes also used a second title in which he reused the Golden Horus name of Ptolemy X Alexander I. This second title is only attested in two crypts of Dendara Temple and a chamber of Kom Ombo. This study attempts to date these two royal protocols and concludes that they respectively date back to the first (80/76-58 BC) and the second reign (55-51 BC) of the king. These conclusions thus enable the author to propose more precise dates for the construction program of the places where this title appears.
