Une Ouabet de Philadelphe à Médamoud. Essai d’interprétation de l’arrière-temple
Les salles nord de l’arrière-temple de Médamoud constituent une Ouabet inscrite au nom de Ptolémée II Philadelphe. Les deux processions encore en place à la base des murs restants se dirigent vers le « Taureau-très-grand-et-vénérable » demeurant à l’intérieur de la partie arrière secrète du bâtiment. La Ouabet peut être comparée à celle de Philae et Edfou et mise en relation avec les textes des grandes portes de Philadelphe.
The northern rooms of the rear temple of Medamud are a Ouabet of Ptolemy II Philadelphus.
The two processions still in place at the base of the remaining walls go in the direction of the “Bull-very-great and venerable” which is located inside the secret rear part of the building. The Ouabet can be compared to the ones of Philae and Edfu and can be linked with the texts of the great doors of Philadelphus.
