• Examples of glass objects found during Mt. Berenice excavations at Tiberias:

– fragments of bowls (lamps ?) with three small holes in their folded collar rims (fig. 11.1: 2 and 3) - Late Roman - Early Byzantine Period;

– bowl-shaped lamps with handles:
- fragments of lamps with outfolded rim (fig. 11.3: 20 and 21): Late Byzantine - Ummayyad Period,
- fragments of lamps with mould-blown decoration (fig. 11.3: 22 and 23): 9th-11th century,
- fragments of lamps with “crude” handles - so-called “mosque lamps” (fig. 11.3: 24-26) : 8th-11th century;

– drinking glasses:
- fragments of drinking glasses with hollow ring base (fig. 11.1: 7 and 8): Late Byzantine - Ummayyad Period;
– fragments of drinking glasses with flat, solid base and solid foot (fig. 11.1: 9 and 10): Late Byzantine - Ummayyad Period;

– fragments of two flasks made of cobalt blue glass (fig. 11.2: 18): 9th-10th century;

– fragment of beaker with concave base and flaring walls, coiled base-ring, applied decoration (trail, knobs) (fig. 11.2: 18) - Mamluk Period;

– fragments of window glass (fig. 11.3: 27 and 28): Late Byzantine - Ummayyad Period;
- lead strips folded at the edges - used to hold panes of glass (?).
