• Glass objects from Old Dongola - examples:

– Lamps:
all fragments found in the Old Church (’terminus ante quem’ : second half of the 7th century):
- with stem and terminal ball (fig. 1a);
- hemispherical bowl with handles (fig. 1c).

– Flasks:
- fragment of flask with pronounced solid rim and engraved line (fig. 2a; House A: Classic Christian level);
- three fragments of flasks decorated with marvered trails: white on purple-brown glass (fig. 2b; House B: Classic Christian level; Cruciform Church; House PCH-1).

– Painted decoration:
- fragment of body of an unidentified vessel with painted decoration [technique ?] on the inside: representation of lion (fig. 2d; Mosque).

– Bowl (fig. 2e; House A).

– Bracelets:
- bluish-green glass pulled spirally together with narrow gold [?] glass strip (House B);
- light emerald green glass with layered decoration [mosaic ?] in green, yellow and brown (House J - 17th century stratum).

– Beads: mainly from the Late or Post-Christian Period.
