• Primary glass workshops at Apollonia-Arsuf (6th - 7th century):
– glass furnaces in Areas D and N consisted of two parts:
- the firing area (on the west),
- the melting chamber (on the east).

• Other sites in Israel with primary glass workshops: Bet Sheʿarim (probably 9th century), Bet Eliʿezer (8th century), Dor, Banias, Khirbet Sabiya, Khirbet Jious, Tabsur.

• Elemental analyses of 15 samples of glass found at Apollonia-Arsuf - soda-lime-silica glass: SiO2, Al2O3, FeO, MgO, CaO, Na2O, K2O, P2O5, Cl, SO3.
