Legrain:1904c, 137, n. 1 évoque ainsi la statue: “une charmante statuette de ce personnage, montée sur socle d’albâtre”. Il n’est plus fait mention de ce socle dans Legrain:1909 et il n’a pas été enregistré au JE. Ce socle a-t-il été perdu ou bien Legrain a-t-il confondu avec une autre statue ?
On penchera pour cette seconde solution. Une confusion avec K400 (JE 37186 / CG 42163), trouvée le même jour 5/6/1904: statue agenouillée théophore (Amon, Mout, Khonsou) de Rʿ-mss-nḫt, Premier Prophète d’Amon] composé d’une statue en schiste sur un socle de calcite paraît probable. On notera toutefois que, précisément les matières de K400 ne sont pas sans poser quelques sérieux problèmes (cf. Remarques matière CK 361).
L’objet porte distinctement les numéros 280 (rouge sur le dessus du naos/bleu sur le bas arrière de la base) et 42157 (rouge [2 x]).
