Ms Legrain-Kuentz (Musée du Caire), V/3 fournit une date de découverte manifestement erronée: “Cachette de Karnak. 5 Mars 1905”. (G. Legrain). La séquence-K et surtout son enregistrement au JE (36711) aux alentours du 15/3/1904 rendraient la correction ici proposée aussi certaine que possible si le Journal de fouilles ne fournissait à ce sujet une information problématique. JdF 1903-1904, 46 enregistre en date du 5 Mars [1904]: « 98. Hapi. Grès rouge » ce qui est exactement la description qui est donnée de la statue CG 42184 par Legrain:1909,48: « Statue de [ḥʿpj] ou [ḥʿpj]. Grès rouge ». (Pour cette statue K177, voir CK 152).
