Frais d’inscription

Les frais d’inscription comprennent la participation au colloque, les pauses café, les déjeuners (sous forme de buffet). L’excursion est en option.

Les frais de déplacement, d’hébergement et les dîners sont à la charge des participants.

Modalités d’inscription

• L'inscription en ligne est ouverte : formulaire d’inscription .
• Le règlement peut se faire par paiement en ligne ou virement bancaire. Les modalités vous seront précisées par email lors de l'inscription en ligne.
• Tous les paiements doivent être effectués en euros. Tout paiement effectué dans une autre monnaie ne sera pas accepté et l’inscription ne sera pas enregistrée.
• Seules les inscriptions accompagnées de leur règlement seront prises en compte.

Annulation et remboursement

Toute annulation d’inscription doit être notifiée par courrier électronique adressé aux organisateurs à l’adresse suivante :

En cas d’annulation moins de trois mois (13 janvier 2014) avant le colloque ou en cas d’absence, le paiement ne donne lieu à aucun remboursement. En cas d’annulation plus de trois mois avant le colloque, l’inscription est remboursée déduction faite d’un montant de 50 € pour frais de dossier. Tous les remboursements s’effectueront après le colloque.

Vous pouvez vous faire remplacer en nous communiquant le nom et les coordonnées du remplaçant.

Aéroport international du Caire

L’aéroport se situe à environ 25 km au nord-est du centre-ville, soit 35-40 minutes en voiture. Il dispose de deux terminaux:

Terminal 1 : Air France-KLM, lignes égyptiennes et arabes ; lignes d’Europe orientale et africaines.

Terminal 2 : autres compagnies occidentales (Lufthansa, etc.).

Terminal 3: EgyptAir

Formalités d’entrée en Égypte

Passeport en cours de validité (avec plus de 6 mois de validité avant expiration). Le visa est accordé pour 1 mois (avec une validité de six semaines). Il peut être renouvelé ensuite pour une période plus longue.

Il peut être obtenu avant le départ au consulat d’Égypte, ou à l’arrivée au Caire (prévoir 15 euros pour l'achat d'un timbre fiscal, à régler avant les contrôles de police).

Le meilleur moyen de se rendre au colloque est le taxi; comment se rendre de l'aéroport à l'IFAO :

Compter env. 100 livres en taxi normal ou en limousine (comptoir dans le hall de l’aéroport) ;

L’Ifao est situé au 37 rue Cheikh Ali Youssef, dans le quartier de Mounira, devant le Centre culturel français, aux abords immédiats de la rue Qasr el-Ayni, très connue.

Le Caire est une ville très touristique où il est relativement facile de se loger pour un prix raisonnable.

Registration fees

The registration fees include participation for the colloquium, coffee breaks, lunches (buffets) and conference kit. Excursion is an option.

Travel costs, accommodation and dinners are at the expense of the participants.

Registration information

• On line registration is open : registration form .
• Payment by online payment or bank transfer, details will be send by email after online registration.
• All payments must be made exclusively in Euros. Payment made in other currencies will not be accepted and registration will be refused.
• A registration will not be considered final until payment has been received in full.

Cancellation and refunding

Any cancellation of registration should be notified in writing to organisers by email at

In case of cancelation less than three months (19th June 2010) before the colloquium or in case of no show, payment will not be refunded. In case of cancelation more than three months before the colloquium, registration fees will be refunded minus 50 Euros administrative and bank service charges that will be deducted. All refunds will be processed after the congress.

Registered participants who are unable to attend the congress may nominate (free of charge) a substitute participant by notifying the organisers.

Cairo International Airport

The airport is located 25km north-east of the city centre, approximately 35-40 minutes by car. It has two separated terminals:

Terminal 1: Air France-KLM, Egyptian and Arab companies; European an African companies.

Terminal 2: other European companies (Lufthansa, etc.).

Terminal 3: EgyptAir

Visa formalities

Tourist visas for Egypt can often be easily obtained upon arrival in Egypt, for citizens of most countries (however, it is highly recommended to confirm visa particulars with the appropriate consulate). Price of a 1 month visa is around 15 euros/dollars. Your visa can also be obtained before departure at the local Egyptian Consulate. Your passport must have at least six months validity remaining.

The easiest transportation to the colloquium is by taxi: information in Arabic for the taxi driver.

Normal trip with a taxi or a limousine is around 100 Egyptian pounds;

IFAO is located in the Munira area, at 37 Cheikh Ali Yussef Street, close to the French Cultural Centre, near the well known Qasr el-Ayni Street;
